‘Are They Dating?’ Varun Dhawan And Samay Raina’s Kissing Video Gets A Wild Response Online

Varun Dhawan and Samay Raina had viewers talking after a fun moment on the latest episode. As it turned out, one joke from the show would soon take on a life of its own online.

The sixth episode of India’s Got Latent Season 2 arrived on Netflix on September 4. Varun joined Samay Raina, Medha Shankr, Sharon Verma and Nishant Tanwar on the panel.

During the episode, Varun recreated a popular Vivah dialogue after Samay’s drink arrived. He picked up Samay’s glass and offered him a drink, saying, “Aapka jal aa gaya, thoda sa jal lenge aap?” Samay played along and drank from Varun’s hand. He then joked, “Kya baat! Hum dono ka rumour na phail jaye,” making everyone laugh.

The exchange later took another turn when contestant Mihir Patel predicted that edited videos could follow. He said, “AI videos banenge iske upar." Varun asked what he meant, while Samay simply replied, “You’ll see.”

An edited kissing clip featuring Varun and Samay later surfaced online. The video quickly drew attention, with viewers clearly treating it as a joke rather than a real moment.

One user asked, “Are they dating?”

Another joked, “Heated rivalry.”

A third commented, “We live in a world where everyone is shipped, gender doesn't matter. Be careful ?.”

One more quipped, “Samay Raina asked for it.”

The episode also featured Samay taking several shots at Varun. He joked about the actor’s film choices and even brought up Border 2. At one point, Samay asked, “Why did you spoil Border 2 then?” He also delivered a nepotism joke, saying, “Hai papa director toh actor toh hona he hai.”

Varun appeared to take the jokes sportingly throughout the episode. Their playful exchange helped create one of the episode’s more talked-about moments.
