Following his statement on social media, Vijay personally went to Kallakurichi. He visited the families of those who had died due to the illicit liquor. He also met with individuals who are currently receiving treatment at the hospital.

Thalapathy Vijay will next be seen in the movie ‘GOAT’, directed by Venkat Prabhu. The film is scheduled to release in theatres on September 5.
