“DELETE That Video!”—Taniya Chatterjee Alleges Yuzvendra Chahal’s PR Tried to Silence Her

Taniya Chatterjee, an actor, has sparked fresh buzz after revealing that Yuzvendra Chahal, an Indian cricketer, had slid into her Instagram DMs in 2023. According to Taniya, Chahal responded to her Instagram stories and called her “cute.” She later made headlines after showing the interaction to the paparazzi.

In an interview with India Forums, Taniya shared that she was contacted by Chahal’s PR team after the video surfaced. She said, “After this happened, I got a message from his PR team asking me to delete the video. I wondered why, because it is the truth and he hasn’t said anything shameful.”

Taniya added that she did not see the message as controversial. “It is a compliment given by a man to a girl, so why make a big deal out of it?” she questioned.

Taniya further revealed that Chahal didn’t just message once but reached out multiple times. However, she initially ignored the messages as she was busy with work and unaware of who he was.

“It was only later, when I checked his profile, that I realised he is a popular cricketer,” she said.

Addressing the possibility of people calling the interaction fake, Taniya dismissed such concerns. She explained that while AI can manipulate some content, direct messages are not easy to fake.

“I have proof, and I have nothing to hide,” she added, making it clear that she wasn’t worried about online speculation.
