'Daaru Peeke...' Woman Walks Out Midway From Mirzapur The Movie Screening Over Drunk Crowd

A Noida woman walked out of a Mirzapur The Movie screening midway after claiming that drunk audience members ruined her experience. She said she was enjoying the film but could not continue because of the behavior inside the theatre.

The woman later shared her experience online, where she described the crowd as “bekaar.” She also claimed that the theatre management did not take the action she expected against the people she alleged were drunk.

Instagram user @anaa_mika_20 shared a video on Saturday, September 5. She said she had visited Wave Cinemas with a female friend to watch Mirzapur The Movie.

According to her, they left the screening because of the behavior of some people in the audience. She claimed that some viewers had arrived after drinking alcohol and created an uncomfortable atmosphere.

Anamika stressed that the movie itself was not the problem. In fact, she said she was enjoying the film before deciding to leave. She said, "Movie se bahar aa gaye, isliye nahi ki movie kharab thi, kyunki crowd hi itna bekaar tha. Daaru peeke aa rakhe hain log, aur hum sab bahar pareshaan hoke aa gaye ki sabko bahar nikalo, phir hum andar jayenge. Humein pata tha ki crowd achha nahi aayega, par itna bekaar crowd aa jayega, humein pata nahi tha. Aur movie mein maza aa raha tha, movie bahut mazedaar thi. Aap fun ke liye dekhoge."

She further claimed that theatre staff offered to move them to another screen. However, she said the management did not agree to remove the people she alleged were drunk.

Anamika also expressed frustration after staff allegedly asked them to call the police. She questioned why they should make the call when the theatre was responsible for managing the situation. She said, "Humein keh rahe hain 100 number par call kar do. Hum kyun call karenge? Woh log karenge jo manage kar rahe hain. Itna bekaar hai. Mood kharab ho gaya."

Mirzapur The Movie brings the popular Prime Video crime franchise to cinemas for the first time. Gurmmeet Singh directs the film, while Puneet Krishna serves as its writer and creator. It released in theatres on September 4, 2026.

The story returns to the power struggle surrounding Mirzapur's criminal underworld. Kaleen Bhaiya, Guddu Pandit and Munna Tripathi remain at the center of the conflict, with new threats adding to the battle for control.

Pankaj Tripathi reprises his role as Kaleen Bhaiya, while Ali Fazal returns as Guddu Pandit. Divyenndu is back as Munna Tripathi. The cast also features Ravi Kishan as Babban Babua, along with Rasika Dugal, Jitendra Kumar and Abhishek Banerjee.

The film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar under Excel Entertainment. Amazon MGM Studios presents the theatrical release.

The movie has also opened strongly at the box office. It crossed Rs 50 crore mark in India in just two days.
