‘We Were Suffering…’ Dheeraj Dhoopar Faces Shocking Accusations From Rabb Se Hai Dua Co-Star

Dheeraj Dhoopar has faced criticism from his Rabb Se Hai Dua co-star Amrapalli Gupta over his alleged working style on the show. The actress claimed his schedule often left other actors waiting for long periods on set.

Amrapalli made the comments while speaking with Telly Masala. She discussed Dheeraj's contract, his reported timings and how they allegedly affected the rest of the cast.

Rabb Se Hai Dua introduced Dheeraj as Subhaan Siddiqui on February 21, 2024. His entry came after the Zee TV drama took a 22-year generational leap. The show, which premiered in 2022, ended its television run on December 2, 2024.

According to Amrapalli, Dheeraj's contract stated that he would work from 11 am to 9 pm. However, she claimed he would arrive on set around 11 am but would not be ready to shoot until around 12:45 or 1 pm. She said the delay affected other actors who were already waiting to begin their work.

"Usko sabke bare mein sochna chahiye..." Amrapalli said, stressing that every artist should consider the people working around them. The actress explained that the cast would sit for readings once Dheeraj arrived. By the time they were ready to start shooting, it was often close to lunch.

"Jismein wo 11'o clock set par to aa jate the but wo taiyaar ho ke 12.45-1 baje ke pehle nahi aate the." She added that the situation became difficult for the other actors because they had to adjust their schedules around it.

"Usme thoda sa hamlog ko ho jata tha ki we were sitting since so long and itni der se ham kuch kar rahe hain, no offence to him...but we were suffering for some time ki hame wait karna padta hai, hame adjust karna padta hai."

Amrapalli also claimed that Dheeraj's contract allowed him to take a nap for about an hour after lunch. She said other actors would shoot their scenes during that period, while Dheeraj's sequences would be filmed after he woke up.

She acknowledged that his contract may have been based on his availability and comfort. However, Amrapalli maintained that the arrangement made things harder for the rest of the cast.

"Mujhe lagta hai har ek artist ko, chahe wo bada ho ya chota ho, usko sabke bare mein sochna chahiye," she said. She also questioned whether enough consideration was given to actors who had been waiting on set.

"Aapko itni respect to karni chahiye other person ki they were waiting since so long."

Amrapalli clarified that occasional delays can happen because of personal problems. She said she understands such situations when they happen from time to time, but objected to making such a schedule a regular practice.

"Aapne ye apna standard banaya hai to show that I am above, wo I think mujhe lagta hai ki thik nahi hai," she said.

Amrapalli then suggested that Dheeraj's alleged working style could have played a role in the show's early ending. However, she stopped short of calling it the definite reason.

"Main 100% nahi bolungi, lekin 99% yahi ek reason hain jiski wajah se (show) band kiya gaya."

Rabb Se Hai Dua welcomed Dheeraj Dhoopar as its second-generation male lead, Subhaan Siddiqui, on February 21, 2024. His entry came after the Zee TV drama took a major 22-year generational leap, introducing a new phase of the story and its characters.

The show had originally premiered in 2022 and continued for just over two years. It eventually concluded its television run on December 2, 2024, with its final episode airing on Zee TV.
