‘It’s Disturbing’: Ankit Warns Of Legal Action Against Those Spreading Fake Rumours

TV actor Ankit Gupta has finally addressed the viral video that sparked rumours about his personal life. The clip, which showed him leaving a Mumbai restaurant with a woman in the background, led to wild speculation, especially as fans linked it to his reported breakup with Priyanka Chahar Choudhary.

Now, Ankit has finally broken his silence. He said he doesn't know the woman in the video and called the assumptions around it disturbing. In a detailed Instagram post, he made it clear he's done staying silent.

Ankit said staying quiet is often taken as agreement, and he’s no longer okay with that. He revealed that over the past few months, people have made up stories, shared edited content, and spread baseless rumours about his private life.

He pointed out that just because someone is seen in the same frame doesn't mean there’s a connection. He called out the trend of linking celebrities with strangers for views and engagement, adding that he's a private person and shares things only with intention.

The actor also warned that this won’t be tolerated anymore. Anyone spreading false or defamatory content about him will face legal action, including defamation charges. He stressed that being a public figure doesn’t mean giving up his right to dignity.
