Bigg Boss 19: Tanya Mittal Entered the House with THIS Much Number of Sarees

Bigg Boss 19 premiered on August 24, 2025, with Salman Khan hosting the show. The show features a diverse lineup of contestants, including actors, influencers, and entrepreneurs, competing in a parliament-inspired setting where housemates control alliances, tasks, and house dynamics. Influencer and Entrepreneur Tanya Mittal made headlines by claiming she brought this much sarees into the house. 

Speaking about her decision, Tanya shared, “I am not leaving my luxuries behind, I am taking my jewellery, accessories and more than 800 sarees inside the house. For every day, I have decided on 3 sarees which I will be changing throughout the day.”

Meanwhile, Tanya made several statements about demanding respect and talked about her tight security on the very first day of the show. “My bodyguards saved 100 people in Kumbh Mela, even saved police, and that’s why I ended up here. So my bodyguards are well-trained. I haven’t got any threats yet, but I can’t wait to get one and then keep security. This has been going on in my family for a long time; everyone had security. We have a habit of walking with security. We like having PSOs and staff,” she said.

In the very first week, Bigg Boss announced the season’s first eviction. Breaking away from the usual format, this year’s theme of democracy allowed housemates themselves to decide who should be eliminated first. After tense deliberations, the contestants chose Farhana Bhatt as the first evictee of Bigg Boss 19.

However, the eviction turned out to be a classic Bigg Boss masterstroke. Instead of heading home, Farhana was secretly shifted to the hidden secret room. While her housemates believe she is out of the game, Farhana continues to monitor the house, observe alliances, and plan her strategy for a potential comeback. This unexpected twist has left fans buzzing about how her return could shake up the dynamics inside.

Soon after Farhana’s exit, Bigg Boss introduced the first nomination task of the season. Bigg Boss asked every housemate to nominate two contestants; it was up to Farhana which nomination she would accept and which nomination she would reject. According to exclusive updates, seven contestants are now in danger of eviction are Gaurav Khanna, Neelam Giri, Tanya Mittal, Abhishek Bajaj, Pranit More, Zeeshan Qadri and Natalya.
