Bigg Boss 19: “Mujhe Laga DIGGAJ Log Ayenge, Lekin Sab WEAK Hain”, Baseer Ali Expressed Disappointment

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] September 9: Bigg Boss is providing entertainment to the viewers, and it has entered into the third week. Recently, Baseer Ali, who is currently the captain of the house, has slammed the contestants by saying they are weak. He has expressed his disappointment as he feels he has been sidelined consecutively in Weekend Ka Vaar. 

He said the show was supposed to highlight personalities but his presence was being ignored. “This season is not for me. Every year they say Bigg Boss is about personalities. I came here to show mine. Iss show ka flow jo samajh araha hai after two sessions, I have not come here to build relationships. I like to live my life alone. In the name of Bigg Boss I feel I have been brought to some other show,” Baseer remarked.

The MTV Splitsvilla winner did not hold back while assessing his fellow housemates. He claimed he had expected stronger competitors and bigger personalities. “Where is my personality being talked about? Honestly, contestants are absolutely weak. I thought diggaj log ayenge. I wanted to learn from them, fight with equals. There would be feel,” he said.

He also questioned his visibility in Weekend Ka Vaar, asking why discussions around him were missing despite his captaincy role.

While Baseer voiced his frustrations, Nehal Chudasama tried to reassure him. She reminded him that conversations about him might have taken place beyond his knowledge. “You don’t know what was spoken about you in Weekend Ka Vaar, think about people outside,” Nehal said.

Despite her words, Baseer remained unconvinced. He insisted he was not seeking validation but only fairness in the game.

Even amid criticism, Baseer carried out his captaincy duties. When Bigg Boss asked him to save female contestant from nominations, he chose Nehal. Explaining his decision, he said, “She is my friend and I feel she will be targeted by many. By keeping her safe, I want to see who the house chooses instead.”

His choice left fans divided. While some praised his loyalty, others felt it could weaken his own strategy. Fans thought he should have saved Farrhana Bhatt instead of Nehal. 

The episode sparked debate among viewers. Some agreed with Baseer’s blunt statements and called this season weaker compared to earlier editions. Others, however, felt he was sabotaging his own game by distancing himself from the show’s dynamics.

Baseer Ali has been one of the most standout contestants from the house till now; now his recent opinions clearly indicate that his gameplay has been affected. Hopefully, he will come back strongly and will play a good game.
