‘Aaj Wahi Jagah Gayi’ Shehnaaz Gill Fans Remember Sidharth Shukla At Shefali Jariwala’s Funeral

Shefali Jariwala’s funeral was held at Oshiwara Crematorium on Saturday evening. Friends, family, and many from the industry came to pay their last respects. But it was the emotional presence of Shehnaaz Gill that deeply moved fans online.

Shehnaaz, who shared the Bigg Boss 13 journey with Shefali, arrived in a white shirt and blue jeans. A video showed her helping a photographer who fell in the crowd. She looked heartbroken and quickly left after offering condolences.

Soon after, videos from the funeral surfaced online. Fans flooded social media with support for Shehnaaz. Many were quick to point out that Shefali was cremated at the same place where Sidharth Shukla was laid to rest in 2021.

A user wrote, “Usne aaj wahi jagah gayi jahan Sid last time dekha tha.” Another added, “Sayad yeh wahi gate hai jaha hamne Shehnaaz ko bahot hi bure haal mein dekhe thay... ek din sab ko yehi raste se gujarna hai.”

One more commented, “Rip Shefali Jariwala ??... Bhagwan iski family ke saath sana ko bhi Oshiwara funeral mein khade rehne ki himmat de... kyunki aaj sana ki Sidharth Shukla wali sari buri yaadein taaza ho gayi hongi.”

Many fans also criticised the media for chasing Shehnaaz in such a sensitive moment. One said, “All these media reporters have lost their minds; they can't let people mourn peacefully.” Another added, “Paps pagal hain jo aise piche bhaag rahe.”

The bond between Shehnaaz Gill and Sidharth Shukla from Bigg Boss 13 remains iconic. Fans had lovingly named them “SidNaaz.” While they never confirmed being in a relationship, their connection was clear.

Shehnaaz once shared, “He was so good-looking, I used to get insecure.” Her honesty about their bond only made fans love them more.

Sidharth’s sudden death in September 2021 shocked the country. He passed away at 40 after a heart attack. He had complained of chest pain the night before and was found unresponsive the next morning. Cooper Hospital confirmed his cause of death.
