Sukumar praises Ram Charan's Game Changer, hopes he wins a National Award

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] December 23: At a promotional event in Dallas, US, Pushpa 2 director Sukumar shared his thoughts on Ram Charan’s upcoming film Game Changer. Sukumar revealed that he had watched the movie with actor Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan’s father. He described the first half as "awesome" and called the interval "blockbuster." He shared that the second half, especially the flashback scenes, gave him goosebumps. Sukumar compared the film to Shankar’s classics like Gentleman and Indian, saying he thoroughly enjoyed it.

Sukumar spoke highly of Ram Charan’s performance and expressed hope that the actor will win a National Award for his work in Game Changer. He mentioned that Ram Charan’s emotional performance in the film’s climax was particularly remarkable. Sukumar said, “I felt he deserved a National Award for Rangasthalam, and I have the same feeling again after watching Game Changer. He performed so well that I believe he will definitely get a National Award for it.”

The director also shared his bond with Ram Charan, calling him a “brother.” Sukumar explained that while he usually does not stay in touch with actors after completing a film, Ram Charan is an exception. After working together on their hit film Rangasthalam, the two stayed close and often discuss various topics. Sukumar announced that his next project would reunite him with Ram Charan, marking their second collaboration.

Fans are now even more excited for Game Changer, which stars Ram Charan and Kiara Advani and is directed by Shankar. Sukumar’s praise has raised expectations for the film, with many looking forward to Ram Charan’s performance and the powerful storytelling.
