‘Jo Show Yeh Na Jeete….’ Farah Khan Reacts After Aarush Bhola Calls Ashneer Grover’s Rise and Fall Biased

Aarush Bhola has opened up about his Rise & Fall journey months after the reality show ended. The content creator called the show “biased” while speaking to Farah Khan during her cooking vlog.

Aarush reached the finale of the Ashneer Grover-hosted show but missed out on the trophy. Actor Arjun Bijlani eventually won Season 1, with Aarush finishing as the runner-up.

Farah Khan recently visited Aarush Bhola and Varun Yadav aka Laila Badmash for her cooking vlog with Dilip. During the visit, she spoke to them about their time on Rise & Fall. She then asked Aarush about his journey on the show.

Farah asked Aarush, “Were you till the end of the show?” He replied, “I was the runner-up.” She then asked how the winner was decided, leading Aarush to talk about the voting process.

Aarush said, “End mein wahi internal voting kar di (They held an internal vote at the end).” He then laughed and added, “Biased show, aapko pata hi hai (Biased show, you know that).” Farah quickly responded to his comment.

Farah laughed and said, “No, no, no. Jo show yeh naa jeete voh biased hogaya (Whichever show they don't win becomes biased).” Her comment also seemed to reference Lock Upp Season 2, which she hosted. That season also used an internal voting system, and Shreya Kalra won the show.

Farah later joked about Aarush’s clashes with Ashneer on Rise & Fall. While speaking to Aarush’s mother, she said, “Maine isko (Aarush) ko bhi dekha tha, host ko hi rula diya tha (I saw him, he even made the host cry).” She was referring to the heated arguments Aarush had with Ashneer during the show.

Aarush and Ashneer had several arguments on Rise & Fall. One major clash started after Ashneer repeated a slur that Aarush had used for himself in the Red Room. Aarush objected and said Ashneer could criticise his gameplay but should not use such language against him.

Aarush said, “Ek host ke taur par main aapko kehna chahunga ki aap game ka koi bhi criticism do, magar ye baatein mat karna. Main camera ko kuch bhi bolun. Iska matlab ye nahi hai ki aap mujhe kuch bhi bologe (As a host, I would like to tell you that you can criticise my gameplay in any way you want, but don't say things like this. I can say whatever I want to the camera. That doesn't mean you can say anything to me).” The argument became more heated after his response.

Ashneer then asked Aarush to leave the show. Aarush replied, “Yes, open the gate.” Their heated exchange was one of the key moments from Aarush’s time on Rise & Fall.

Rise & Fall is a reality show based on power and strategy. Contestants are divided into two groups, the Rulers and the Workers. Each group has a different position in the game.

The Rulers get more privileges and control, while the Workers face tougher conditions and tasks. The power can shift during the competition, changing the contestants’ positions. The show follows how they deal with these changes.
