The legendary Famous music composer A R Rahman was admitted to a hospital in Chennai on Saturday night. Doctors said he was feeling unwell due to dehydration. He had just returned from London and was fasting for Ramzan, which may have caused the issue as wasn’t eating much.
Doctors assured fans that he is out of danger and recovering well. "There is nothing to worry about. He is stable now," they said. A R Rahman, also known as ARR, is one of India's greatest musician and have been famous world wide for his songs. He is famous for creating unique sounds in Tamil and Hindi films. Some of his most popular works include Roja, Bombay, and Slumdog Millionaire.
He started his career in the early 90s with Roja, directed by Mani Ratnam. His fresh and soulful music quickly made him a household name and received love from fans. Over the years, he composed music for many hit films like Kadhalan, Thiruda Thiruda, Gentleman, and many more
Later on his music in Slumdog Millionaire brought him more global fame. He has also worked on international projects. He composed music for films like 127 Hours, Couples Retreat, and Million Dollar Arm. He has also collaborated with top global artists like Mick Jagger and U2.
In 2010, the Indian government honored him with the Padma Bhushan, the country’s third-highest civilian award. In 2009, he was featured in Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world. His music is known for blending Indian classical tunes with electronic and world music styles. This has given him a unique identity in the industry.
Apart from music, Rahman is involved in many social causes to help under privileged people and supports education for underprivileged children and promotes peace through music. He also runs the A R Rahman Foundation, which works on various charitable projects.
