Madharaasi is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language psychological action thriller film written and directed by AR Murugadoss. Produced by Sri Lakshmi Movies, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Rukmini Vasanth, Vidyut Jammwal, Biju Menon, Vikranth and Shabeer Kallarakkal in the lead roles, alongside Prem Kumar, Sanjay and Sachana Namidass. The action thriller is all set for a grand release on 5 September 2025.  

The basic plot of the movie is a revenge thriller, and we see cat and mouse chase between the protagonist and antagonist. 

The trailer showcases that the protagonist Sivakarthikeyan has a problem that he cannot see anyone in trouble; if he sees anyone suffering, he goes to them and helps them. We see some glimpses that he had some personal losses. After that, we see many action set pieces, we see glimpses of romance with Rukmini Vasanth. There are some scenes of our antagonist, Vidyut Jamwal, who is also seen doing some sleek action. The trailer ends with montages of action and violence.
