LFW 2025: Karan Johar Rocks Black Nail Paint, Malaika Arora Stuns as Showstopper

Mumbai(Maharashtra) [India] March 29: At Lakmé Fashion Week, Malaika Arora and Karan Johar both dazzled us with their striking black ensembles and self-assured attitude. Ms. Arora stole the show at R|Elan by Namrata Joshipura, while Karan appeared in a Falguni Shane Peacock creation. And if we claimed they didn't kill it, we would be lying—they very definitely did! Starting with our Chaiyya Chaiyya girl, Malaika Arora, who wore an all-black, minimalist group, walked the runway for Namrata Joshipura. She shone like a walking spotlight in a black catsuit that was lavishly sequin-adorned. Her figure was highlighted by the tight fit of the bodice, which flowed into loose trousers for a casual yet fashionable style.

The actress added a glamorous layer by wearing a full-sleeved, sequined blazer with a stand-collar style that exuded boss-babe intensity. She threw it freely over her shoulders rather than wearing it the old-fashioned way. It was just too good to pass up.

She chose few accessories, allowing the ensemble to take centre stage. She just wore a bold ring as an accessory, which brought everything together. Her hair was braided in the front for an edgy twist and wore in a neat ponytail with straight strands.

Malaika had flawless makeup that complemented her daring ensemble and hairdo. She began with a glowing base and then accentuated her sharp features with a neutral-toned blush, long lashes, defined brows, a nude brown lipstick, and a gorgeous smokey eyeshadow. She finished the appearance by wearing shiny black heels that went well with the overall tone of her ensemble.

In an amazing Falguni Shane Peacock creation, Karan Johar embraced the all-black concept for Lakmé Fashion Week 2025. He looked stunning as ever by putting an amazing jacket over a sheer black shirt with the front buttons undone. With its rose-colored floral embroidery on the sleeves, padded shoulders, long sleeves, and a perfectly fitted form, the jacket proved to be a real show-stopper.

The well-known producer chose loose-fitting black trousers for the bottoms, which kept his ramp walk looking cosy but incredibly fashionable. With his hair carefully gelled back, Karan looked incredibly well-groomed. In keeping with the dark-themed attire, he painted his nails black and used black studs as accessories.
