14th April 2023, Mumbai: The fifth phase of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is now in production and will feature a diverse cast of characters. Wonder Man, a Disney+ series that will bring the universe of Simon Williams/Wonder Man (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) to life on screen, is one of the most unexpected ventures in the franchise’s future. It has been anticipated that the Wonder Man series would make fun of the MCU’s version of Hollywood given Simon’s comic-accurate career as an actor. With the announcement that Ben Kingsley would be playing Trevor Slattery again in the season, this was already established, and we now know how it will appear. Funny enough, Marvel hasn’t officially announced Wonder Man’s existence despite the fact that it is now filming. It reminds me of the time the company refused to confirm Black Widow as one of its planned movies even though it was already far into production.

New set photographs can provide spectators with a fresh preview of what’s to come while they wait for more official information about the impending MCU series.

Ben Kingsley, who previously played Trevor Slattery in Iron Man 3, is returning in the Marvel Studios film Wonder Man, which has begun filming in Los Angeles.

Although not much is revealed in the pictures, Slattery is seen dressed up and looking rather smart. Maybe he’s landed the part of a lifetime?

Trevor Slattery had just finished a fantasy struggle in another universe against a deadly evil when he was last seen. Trevor Slattery has had quite the journey; before that, he had been a failing actor who had spent more than ten years in prison for his involvement in a terrorist plot.

Ben Kingsley spoke up regarding Wonder Man’s comeback, despite Marvel Studios largely avoiding the topic. In an earlier statement, the actor said he wanted to “constantly surprise and refresh.”

Kingsley will join a star-studded cast, led by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Simon Williams and featuring Demetrius Grosse as Eric Williams, a.k.a. the Grim Reaper.

The Disney+ series is also said to be interested in casting actors Werner Herzog, Bob Odenkirk, and Ed Harris.

Wonder Man’s release date is presently unknown, but it might happen sometime in 2024 or 2025.
