Omkar Kapoor Turns Down Bigg Boss Offers Again: Here's Why

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] January 12: Omkar Kapoor, a child artist who became a leading man with Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, recently shared his honest opinion about Bigg Boss in a podcast. He refused to participate in Bigg Boss, among other offers, as he said it did not suit his personality. This was during the The Filmy Charcha interview, where he revealed his down- to- earth attitude towards fame.

Kapoor said that Bigg Boss had approached him several times, but he was not able to imagine himself supporting such a program. "Bigg Boss has offered me a lot of times, but I don't know, I just can't see myself there, " he said and added that his no drama kind of personality would make the audience bored. The actor said that the show requires gossip, entertainment, and high energy whereas he is more of a craftsman. 

Kapoor views Bollywood as "free for all," not a private club, dismissing gatekeeper myths. He critiques trends like casting based on social media followers, advocating talent over reach. On auditions, despite 20+ years of experience, he still attends them, showing humility amid volatility. Financial stability remains key in this freelance profession, he notes, avoiding distractions for limelight. 

Known for childhood roles in hits like *Judwaa* alongside Salman Khan, Kapoor transitioned to adult leads but faced industry struggles. His second innings began with *Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2* in 2015, yet consistent breaks followed due to selective choices. Recently, he starred in the silent comedy *Uff Yeh Siyapaa* on OTT. He values box office validation equally with artistic satisfaction, often reaching out to directors without ego. 

There are several projects in the pipeline and Kapoor is looking forward to playing different characters in films and on OTT in order to reconnect with the audience. He tells newcomers to be focused, to stay away from the glamor trap, and to choose acting as a passion rather than for stardom.
