Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] July 25: In a recent podcast The Filmy Charcha with Rahul Varun, Mukesh Chhabra, who is a well-known Bollywood casting director, filmmaker, and actor, opened up and broke his silence on the highs and lows of his journey. People might not know Mukesh Chhabra by name, but they will surely know his projects. He was recently seen in The Traitors. He is the casting director for the much-awaited Ramayana, Maalik, and many other ongoing projects. His previous casting projects include Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Bombay Velvet, Scam 1992, Laal Singh Chaddha, Dunki, Kafas, and many more films.
Was the Journey from the Audience Room to the Murder Room Challenging?
Mukesh Chhabra was asked about his show The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, his first-ever reality show, “Audience room se lekar The Traitors ke murder room tak ka safar kaisa raha, kitna challenging tha aur kitna learning raha aapke liye?”

Mukesh Chhabra answered, “It was very challenging. Because maybe I talk a little less. Although, in my circle, everyone says that I talk a lot. But in the kind of television setup and the kind of show setup, I felt that my personality was a bit of a misfit there. So it was a bit difficult. But when you act, or do casting, or direction, it’s a different world. The world of reality shows is entirely different. But I am happy with how Amazon made the show and the kind of scale they gave it. The way BBC handled it, I think the setup and the feel were very good. But maybe I was a misfit there.”
