“Mujhe Reject...”: Heeramandi Actor Anuj Sharma Makes A Bold Claim About His 27-Year Career

In a recent episode of The Filmy Charcha Podcast, host Rahul Varun sat with Anuj Sharma for an emotional conversation where he was asked whether rejection had ever broken him. However the actor gave a surprising answer. He said, "Aaj tak mere 27 saal ke career mein jis director ne mere saath kaam kiya na usne mujhe repeat karne ki koshish ki hai." The performer added that working for "10 saal Crime Patrol karna ek hi production house ke saath aasan baat nahi thi." He shared that repeat opportunities always gave him confidence in his craft.

The Heeramandi actor spoke about filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Main ek scene karne gaya tha. Unke paas jab gaya tha tab se lekar ab tak har project mein main hoon." According to Anuj, every director who worked with him wanted to collaborate again. The artist stated, "Jiske saath maine ek baar kaam kiya na usne baar-baar mere saath kaam kiya." For him, that continued trust became stronger proof than any award or public praise.

Instead of focusing on rejection, the performer explained that he has always been selective. Anuj said, "Main choosy hi raha hoon apne kaam ko leke thoda sa." He compared his talent to colours and canvases, adding, "Main har canvas par apne color nahi bikherta." The Heeramandi actor further shared, "Mujhe pata hai mera jab exhibition hona toh vahan canvas ki bheed na ho." The metaphor reflected his belief in quality work over quantity.

The actor continued his artistic analogy and said, "Bahut sundar ho taaki dekhne wala bhi tabiyat se dekhe aur maine banaya bhi tabiyat se use." For him, acting is not about appearing everywhere.
