A latest episode of The Filmy Charcha had Harshita Gaur talking to Rahul Varun in an honest manner about her transformation from Sadda Haq to Mirzapur.

Even before Mirzapur, Harshita Gaur acted in Sadda Haq, which Harshita says made an almost unparalleled emotional effect on its young female viewers. In the interview, Harshita Gaur told some of those tales showing how much influence the show had in reality, especially on the lives of young women who watched it when social media was relatively innocent.

For instance, she met a lady in Mumbai who came running to her in tears of excitement for having met her suddenly. The lady said that due to watching the show, she became an engineer and earning from the profession, she is now supporting her entire family, something that touched Harshita a lot.

She also talked about the messages she still gets from people who have grown up with the show and after getting their MBAs and starting work have still not stopped watching it. She mentioned receiving frequent requests asking how they can rewatch the show, since it was removed from its original streaming platform.

Another story involved a young fan whose determination led her to travel nine hours by bus to Puducherry just to meet Harshita during an acting workshop, marking the first time the workshop organizers had ever allowed a fan interaction of that kind in the program's history.

Harshita realized that replicating such an effect is probably impossible in present times due to a more innocent and vulnerable audience in that particular era when social media was still not prevalent enough for people to interact with TV programs.
