In a recent conversation on The Filmy Charcha Podcast, host Rahul Varun sat with Manoj Bajpyaee for his film Governor: The Silent Saviour. Directed by Chinmay Mandlekar and produced by Vipul Amrutlal Shah, the film is based on India's 1991 Balance of Payments crisis. During the interview Rahul mentioned that many young actors consider working with him a matter of pride. Responding with humility Manoj Bajpayee said, "Nahi nahi main shukraguzaar hoon unka jo is tarah ki cheezein sochte hain kyunki main apne baare mein aisi koi bhavna nahi rakhta hoon."
Manoj Bajpayee Says He Is Still A Struggling Actor
The actor explained that he does not see himself as someone above others and said, "Main unhi ke tareeke ka ek actor hoon jo roz ke roz sangharsh kar raha hai ki main apne kirdar ko bahut achhe dhang se nibha paaun." The Governor star also added, "Aur iske alawa mere andar mein na us tarah ke bhaav hai na main koi greatness achieve karne ka prayatn kar raha hoon." These words reflected a mindset built on effort rather than status.

Talking about the acting process the veteran performer revealed how challenging the craft remains even after decades. The acclaimed actor said, "Har din bada difficult hota hai. Ek-ek line ko samajh karke usko poori understanding ke saath parde par ya camera ke saamne bol paana bahut mushkil kaam hota hai." The National Award winning star believes every role demands fresh preparation and complete focus instead of relying on experience alone.
Growth Matters More Than Greatness
Manoj further spoke about constant self-improvement. The actor shared, "Lagataar apne upar mein vikas karte rehna. Apne aap ka vikas karna. Apne aap ko improve karna. Correct karna." The A. Ramanan actor continued by saying, "Apne us din ke kaam ko poori sincerity imaandari aur poore junoon ke saath karne ka idea rehta hai. Aur koshish bhi wahi rehti hai." For him success comes from daily progress and honest effort.

Ending his answer Manoj Bajpayee described the seriousness with which he approaches every scene. The actor said, "Har shot jo hai hamare liye jeene marne ki baat hoti hai." Manoj added, "Koshish yahi rehti hai ki main is kaam ko achhe se achhe tareeke se anjaam de paaun aur ismein main excel kar paaun." Rather than chasing fame or greatness the celebrated performer remains focused on doing justice to every character that comes before the camera.
