Taapsee Pannu 'Feels Sad' For People Not Knowing About Her Husband Mathias Boe

Taapsee Pannu, is an Indian actress who works primarily in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil films. After a brief modeling career, Pannu made her acting debut with the 2010 Telugu film Jhummandi Naadam and went on to act in the 2011 Tamil film Aadukalam. She made her Hindi film debut with David Dhawan’s comedy Chashme Baddoor (2013). After playing the leading lady in several Telugu and Tamil films, Pannu gained notice for her performances in the Hindi spy thriller Baby (2015) and the courtroom drama Pink (2016), both of which were critical and commercial successes. 

Taapsee Pannu And Mathias Boe Marriage 

On 23 March 2024, Taapsee married Danish badminton player Mathias Boe after eleven years of dating. The wedding was an intimate affair which was held in Udaipur. While promoting her upcoming film Phir Aayi Haseen Dilruba in an interview with Fever FM, the actor said she ‘feels sad’ for people who don’t know her husband, even though he is ‘probably one of the biggest achievers in badminton in the world’.

Taapsee said, “I feel sad for those people who don’t know who this guy (Mathias Boe) is. And I don’t want to come out and tell people. Just because he isn’t a cricketer or a big businessman, you don’t really feel like knowing. This is the guy who is probably one of the biggest achievers in badminton in the world and right now probably responsible for where our men’s badminton doubles have reached.” 

Further speaking about Mathias, Taapsee said in the same interview, “The ones who don’t know about him in the media… logo ko interest nahi tha iske andar, maine isko koi chupa ke nahi rakha hai. Woh kafi lamba chauda banda hai, woh kafi visible hai aur kafi chamakta bhi hai safed sa”.

About Famous Badminton Player Mathias Boe From Denmark 

Mathias Boe is a badminton player from Denmark. He was the gold medalist at the 2015 European Games, two time European champions winning in 2012 and 2017, and the silver medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He joined the Denmark winning team at the 2016 Thomas Cup in Kunshan, China. He is currently the men’s doubles coach for the India national badminton team.
