Rashmika Mandanna’s popularity in Bollywood has soared after the tremendous success of the movie ‘Animal’. She has now landed a major project where she will be playing the leading lady opposite Salman Khan in the film ‘Sikander’. Directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this highly anticipated movie is set to hit theaters on Eid 2025. The filmmakers have officially announced Rashmika Mandanna’s involvement in the film through a warm Instagram post, extending a warm welcome to the talented ‘Animal’ actress.

Rashmika Mandanna’s first project with actor Salman Khan, director AR Murugadoss, and producer Sajid Nadiawala marks an exciting milestone in her career. Known for her popularity in Tamil and Telugu cinema, Rashmika made her Bollywood debut in Amitabh Bachchan’s film ‘Good Bye’. She then went on to star in ‘Mission Majnu’ alongside Siddharth Malhotra and ‘Animal’ with Ranbir Kapoor. Up next, Rashmika will be sharing the screen with Vicky Kaushal in the film ‘Chhaava’. Additionally, she has an upcoming project in August with Allu Arjun in ‘Pushpa 2’. Fans can also look forward to seeing Rashmika in the Tamil film ‘Kuber’ alongside Dhanush.

When was ‘Sikander’ Announced?

On the day of Eid, Salman Khan had announced ‘Sikander’, which is being directed by AR Murugadoss. Salman Khan shared a post on Instagram to announce the title of the film. He had written in the post, “This Eid, watch ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and ‘Maidan’ and come and meet ‘Sikander’ next Eid. Happy Eid.”

Everything about the Gunfire Incident at Salman’s Residence

Just to inform you, news broke on the morning of April 14, that there was gunfire outside Galaxy Apartment, Salman Khan’s residence. This news came as a shock to everyone. Two individuals arrived on a motorcycle and fired five shots outside Salman’s house before fleeing the scene. In an attempt to avoid recognition, both suspects changed their clothes three times. The police informed the court that they possessed 40 bullets. Anmol, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, took responsibility for the shooting outside Salman Khan’s house through social media. Vicky Gupta, Sagar Pal, and Anuj Thapan, the accused in this case, were remanded in police custody until May 8. Unfortunately, Anuj Thapan has since taken his own life.
