Ibrahim Ali Khan & Khushi Kapoor Shine in Heartfelt Teen Drama

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] March 07 : Nadaniyan Directed by Shauna Gautam, Nadaaniyan is a young romance drama that is mostly meant for teenagers and is available on Netflix. The film, which stars Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor in the lead roles, examines love, pretense, and societal expectations. It also features seasoned actors like Suneil Shetty and Mahima Chaudhary, as well as an active ensemble that includes Jugal Hansraj, Dia Mirza, Archana Puran Singh, and up-and-coming actors like Apoorva Mukhija and Aaliyah Qureishi.

Khushi Kapoor plays Pia Jai Singh, a wealthy young woman who has led a luxurious but emotionally meaningless life. Raised in a worried household, Pia finds herself torn between her mother (Mahima Chaudhary), who is obsessed with presenting a perfect social image, and her father Rajat (Suneil Shetty), a lawyer driven by a desire to have a son to inherit his firm. After given several aspects, Pia realizes that she wants a nice and attractive lover for her birthday, which is in two weeks.

Pia hires a modest scholarship student from Noida named Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan) to act to be her boyfriend. To deal with him being her boyfriend, she gives him money every week. A transactional partnership quickly turns into more profound feelings. When Pia's mother learns of Arjun's humble background and publicly humiliates him, trouble begins to simmer. The drama that follows is set up by this.

For fans of teen romances, Nadaaniyan is a simple and easy watch because it thrives on its softness and charm. There is no ignoring the wonderful chemistry between Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Their relationship gives the movie a fresh vibe that connects to its intended audience. The soundtrack to Sachin Jigar, which includes great songs like Tere Ishq Mein and Nadaaniyan, gives the events more flair and heart.
Though not very creative, the narrative is playful and attractive, suggesting the teen dramas that are Netflix's specialty. You can turn it on without giving it too much thought. In simple terms, it's the ideal weekend getaway. Orry's and Meezaan Jafri's cameos liven the story. With a slight twist, Archana Puran Singh's vibrant presence brings to mind her famous portrayal of Miss Briganza in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

The main flaw in the movie is how predictable it is. There aren't lots of surprises or innovations in the plot because it takes a well-traveled route. Every step seems planned for, and the conflicts—whether they are created by Pia's family commitments or the class gap 

between her and Arjun—seem basic and occasionally artificial. Nadaaniyan lacks the depth and wit to go beyond a typical teen love story for a story that is focused on pretense and emotional development.  

Viewers looking for something more profound may be disappointed because the movie doesn't challenge its audience or leave a lasting impression.

Ibrahim Ali Khan debuts as Arjun with confidence. He is charming and attractive. He could, however, improve the variation of his voice. As Pia, Khushi Kapoor shines, providing an innocent, approachable appeal that wonderfully complements the soft teen-drama tone.

Jugal Hansraj and Dia Mirza perform well as Arjun's forgiving parents, while Suneil Shetty and Mahima Chaudhary provide strong support as Pia's broken parents. Archana Puran Singh's vibrant enthusiasm spreads her scenes. Pia's new pals, Apoorva Mukhija and Aaliyah Qureishi, are lovely. Neel Deewan, Agasthya Shah, and Dev Agasteya, who portray Pia's other friends, are as strong.

 Nadaaniyan is a charming, relaxed teen drama that achieves its promise of being an adult, corny romance with a little of Dharma-esque flair. It's a reasonable watch for people who like Netflix's teen content or don't mind a familiar love story with catchy music and attractive new performers.
