SHOCKING! Sanjay Dutt & Nora Fatehi’s “Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke Song” REMOVED Overnight

The makers of KD: The Devil have removed the song Sarke Chunar Teri Sarke from YouTube following massive backlash on social media. The track, featuring Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt, was initially trending for its vibrant visuals. However, it quickly landed in controversy due to its lyrics and presentation. By the morning of March 17, the video was no longer accessible. The original YouTube link now shows: “Video unavailable. This video is private.”

The song was set in a lively dance bar backdrop. Nora Fatehi appeared in a ghaghra choli, performing with backup dancers in front of a crowd. One particular hook step, where she drops and picks up her pallu—went viral across social media platforms. While the visuals gained traction, a section of viewers criticised the choreography, calling it overly suggestive.

The biggest controversy centred around the song’s opening verse. Many users pointed out a strong double entendre in the lyrics. Although later lines clarified that the reference was about a drink and a bottle, the initial wording led to widespread criticism.Several viewers labelled the lyrics “inappropriate” and questioned the need for such suggestive content. 

The controversy escalated after National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) member Priyank Kanungo reacted strongly. He questioned the suitability of the song, asking, “Who can sit with their civilised family and watch this?” 

Kanungo also stated that the NHRC would issue notices to the makers and hinted at possible action.

Despite the growing outrage and removal of the video, the makers of KD: The Devil have not issued any official statement so far. The song also featured Sanjay Dutt, with lyrics written by Raqueeb Alam. 

Directed by Prem, KD: The Devil is a Kannada period action drama starring Dhruva Sarja in the lead role. Set in 1970s Bengaluru, the film follows the story of Kaali, a small-time criminal who gets drawn into the underworld. The film also features Shilpa Shetty, V Ravichandran, and Ramesh Aravind in key roles. According to reports, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on April 30, 2026.

With the song now removed and criticism continuing online, KD: The Devil finds itself at the centre of controversy even before its release. Whether the makers will respond or make further changes remains to be seen.
