Manoj Joshi's First Lead Role After 33-Year Journey in “The UP Files”

Manoj Joshi, a Bollywood actor who has spent over three decades in the Indian television and film industry, is taking on a lead role for the first time in his career. He will star in the upcoming film “The UP Files,” directed by Neeraj Sahai and produced by Kuldeep Umraosingh Ostwal. The movie is set to hit theaters on July 26, 2024.

Special Screening in Mumbai

A special “The UP Files” screening was held in Mumbai, attended by Union Minister Ramdas Athawale and Manoj Joshi. The Union Minister praised the film, saying, “I watched this film and it is very good. It depicts the reality of Uttar Pradesh. Manoj Joshi has performed so well.”

Minister Athawale highlighted the film’s portrayal of Uttar Pradesh’s law and order situation and praised Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s efforts to combat crime. He added, “Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar’s constitution is what every citizen must follow, and this film conveys that message. I congratulate the lead actor Manoj Joshi, the producer, the director, and the entire team and crew associated with ‘The UP Files.'”
