Among the Ambani family’s numerous assets is their 27-story residence in Mumbai, known as Antilia, valued at $1 billion. This remarkable structure features three helipads, a 160-car garage, and a private movie theater. Situated on Billionaires’ Row in Mumbai, Antilia was constructed between 2006 and 2010 at an approximate cost of $2 billion and was appraised at $4.6 billion in 2023. The building is engineered to endure an earthquake of magnitude 8.

Isha Ambani, the only daughter of Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani, had a wedding that was nothing short of a fairy tale. It was a jaw-dropping event. For those who don’t know how their love story began, here’s how: Isha and Anand were both Ivy League alumni, and during a vacation, Anand Piramal proposed to Isha at a temple in Mahabaleshwar. She said yes, and their story began.

Their wedding celebrations started with a grand ‘Gol Dhana’ ceremony at Antilia. After this Gujarati custom, their engagement took place at Italy’s Lake Como, a popular destination for Bollywood stars’ weddings. Famous stars like Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra, and Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma also got married there.

Later, their sangeet ceremony was held in Udaipur, where Beyoncé performed a concert. Their ‘Phoolon Ki Holi’ and other pre-wedding festivities gained much fame. They married at Antilia, followed by a reception at Jio Gardens.

For those who don’t know, Akash Ambani and Shloka Mehta were childhood friends. Their wedding festivities began with a winter wonderland themed pre-wedding bash at St. Moritz. Similar to Anant and Radhika’s wedding, their pre-wedding celebrations spanned three days. Over 800 guests and nearly 500 wedding support staff flew into the luxury Alpine resort in Switzerland, including celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor, Karan Johar, Vidya Balan, Jacqueline Fernandez, and John Abraham.

Highlights of the three-day celebrations included performances by British singer and Coldplay’s frontman Chris Martin, and the highly anticipated EDM DJs Chainsmokers. The pre-wedding festivities continued back in Mumbai with a Dandiya Raas Night featuring acclaimed singer Falguni Pathak and Tushar Trivedi. Youngsters and after-parties were held at Famous Studio in Mahalakshmi and, of course, Antilia.

A day before the Mehndi ceremony, an Anna Daan (food serving) was organized for underprivileged children at Jio World Centre. The Mehtas hosted the Mala and Mehndi ceremony at NSCI Dome, Mumbai. The venue was adorned with climbers, flowers, and silver danglers hanging from the ceilings, with a color scheme dominated by shades of orange and traditional elements. Plush tableware complemented the royalty-themed chairs.

The day after the wedding, on 10th March, the Ambanis hosted a post-wedding celebration (Mangal Parv) at Jio World Centre. The grand finale was the reception on 11th March, which saw a massive turnout of guests, estimated to be around 20,000.

The total expense of their wedding is estimated to range from 1100 crore to 13 crore rupees ($132 million to $156 million), as reported by the BBC. However, the families have not disclosed any specific figures.

Anant Ambani – 12 July , 2024

Childhood friends Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani began their pre-wedding celebrations in Jamnagar with a three-day event at a 3000-acre zoo and animal rehabilitation center within Reliance’s Jamnagar Refinery Complex, known as the Green Belt of Gujarat.

International pop star Rihanna and Diljit Dosanjh performed, and the three Khans of Bollywood danced together on stage, delighting onlookers.

Tech giants Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates were also in attendance.

The second set of pre-wedding celebrations took place at Stoke Park Country Club, Spa, and Hotel in the UK, a historic estate spanning 300 acres, acquired for ₹529 crore rupees.

The Ambani family, along with celebrities, then embarked on a four-day luxury cruise along the Sicilian coast, themed “La Vite E Un Viaggio” (Life is a Journey). Performers included Backstreet Boys, Pitbull, and Katy Perry, with a finale by Andrea Bocelli in Portofino.

According to some reports, their wedding cost around 5000 crores, making it one of the world’s costliest weddings in decades, though no one has officially confirmed the details of the wedding cost.
