Bharti Singh Defends Samay Raina Amid India’s Got Latent Controversy: ‘No Force’

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] February 15: After Ranveer Allahbadia made a vulgar remark on his show India's Got Latent, Samay Raina became a part of an investigation. Many FIRs were filed against Samay, the podcaster, and the show's organisers as a result of the rage caused by the comment. Samay has now been backed by comedian Bharti Singh, who was a guest in one episode as well.

In the ongoing debate, Manas Bollywood, an Instagram user, posted a video of Bharti appreciating Samay. "Woh show hi aisa hai, but zaroori nahi ki aap show mein jaake wahi bolo jo show ki requirement hai," she responded when asked about Samay being mocked. Bolo ya na bolo—aapki marzi. In other words, "Arey, muh kholo, bolo!" Talented bhi hai, samay bohot accha ladka hai. Woh, Gen-Z ka pasand hai. Toh uske fan ho jaoge khud jaoge. "Itna accha hai." Last year, Bharti Singh and her spouse, Harssh Limbachiyaa, had an appearance on India's Got Latent. Many people felt that Harssh overshadowed Samay in the program, as seen by the viral social media clips. Other celebrities, including as Mika Singh, comedian Sunil Pal, Imtiaz Ali, and Manoj Bajpayee, attacked Ranveer and Samay's show for its "vulgar" humour, while Bharti, Raftaar, and television actor Aly Goni also supported Samay.

On the latest season of India's Got Latent, Ranveer Allahbadia made an appearance with comedians Ashish Chanchlani and Jaspreet Singh, as well as social media star Apoorva Mukhija. "Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?" Ranveer asked one of the contestants during the show. The video sparked criticism and swiftly went popular on social media. Later, the podcaster claimed regret for his remarks on the program. But he, Samay, Apoorva, and the show's organisers were all the targets of several FIRs.
