Veteran screenwriter Salim Khan has been admitted to Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre in Bandra, Mumbai. The hospital is located close to the Khan family’s residence at Galaxy Apartments.

The news was first shared by paparazzo Viral Bhayani on Instagram. On Tuesday, February 17, he posted a video from outside the hospital with the caption stating that Salim Khan had been admitted. As of now, the exact reason for his hospitalisation remains unknown. The Khan family has not issued an official statement yet.

Soon after the news surfaced, Salman Khan was spotted outside Lilavati Hospital after visiting his father. The actor appeared visibly concerned as he stepped out of the hospital premises. Dressed in a black T-shirt and pants, Salman was seen surrounded by tight security. Fans gathered outside the hospital, and visuals of his visit quickly went viral on social media.

Salim Khan is best known for his iconic partnership with Javed Akhtar as the legendary screenwriting duo Salim-Javed. Together, they delivered several blockbuster films that shaped Hindi cinema in the 1970s and 80s. He is also the father of actors Arbaaz Khan and Sohail Khan, apart from Salman Khan.

On the work front, Salman Khan is gearing up for his upcoming film Battle of Galwan. The film was initially announced for release on April 17. However, reports suggest that the movie has wrapped up filming and may now be pushed to release in the second week of June. An official confirmation regarding the release date is still awaited.
