25th June 2023,Mumbai: Major Samar Anand, played by Shah Rukh Khan, was the main character in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, while Zain Mirza, played by Sharib Hashmi, was the best friend. However, a different actor had also tried out for the part of Zain but was unsuccessful. In addition, this actor is acquainted with Katrina Kaif, another cast member.
The romantic drama movie Jab Tak Hai Jaan (2012) was made by Yash Chopra and his son Aditya Chopra under the umbrella of Yash Raj Films. Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Anushka Sharma, and Sarika are among the actors who appear in the movie.
Vicky Kaushal also went through the audition process to play Zain, according to Sharib Hashmi, who made this revelation in a recent interview. However the movie’s team did not find Vicky suitable for the role of Zain. This is the reason why he was rejected after giving an audition.
Vicky played the lead in Masaan, a 2015 drama. Following that, he starred in Anurag Kashyap’s 2016 psychological thriller Raman Raghav 2.0, Manmarziyaan, and Sanju. He received appreciation for his performance as a military officer in the 2019 war movie Uri: The Surgical Strike. Vicky was also in the films Sardar Udham, Govinda Naam Mera, and Almost Pyaar with DJ Mohabbat.
He last appeared In Laxman Utekar’s romantic comedy Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, which starred Sara Ali Khan. Sharib Hashmi, Sushmita Mukherjee, Neeraj Sood, and Rakesh Bedi were among the other actors who appeared in the movie. Vicky’s upcoming film, directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, is titled Sam Bahadur. Sam Bahadur tells the tale of India’s war hero and first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. The film also stars Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh in the lead roles.
Sharib plays the security guard in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Sharib recently revealed to a news source that he was initially apprehensive to accept the character of Daroga in the movie.Because the security guard’s entrance in the movie occurs after the interval, I was a little hesitant to play him.
