Even though she occasionally makes stylish appearances, like when she was spotted at the airport with her husband Vicky Kaushal after their anniversary trip to Rajasthan, fans are curious about her absence from the film scene.

Her last movie, Merry Christmas, which featured Vijay Sethupathi, came out in January 2024 and was well-received for her acting. Since then, she hasn't revealed any upcoming projects. There have been whispers about her possibly being pregnant and focusing more on family life after getting married, but the reality is that Katrina has decided to take a break from acting on purpose.

A source close to her shared that Katrina is taking time for herself after a hectic few years balancing her career and personal life. Even after marrying Vicky, she was busy with work and traveling a lot for her roles. However, in the past year, she has chosen to take a step back and enjoy this new chapter in her life.

Katrina was supposed to star in a road trip movie called Jee Le Zara with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra.
