Star kids Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan set to debut together in the Bollywood remake of 'Love Today.

26th March, Mumbai: Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan are all set to mark their Bollywood debuts with the upcoming remake of ‘Love Today’, which will be directed by Pradeep Ranganathan. As per reports, both actors were delighted with the roles offered to them and readily agreed to be a part of the movie.

The upcoming movie featuring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan is an adaptation of the 2022 Tamil romantic comedy ‘Love Today’, which starred Ivanna, Pradeep Ranganathan, and Raveena Ravi. The original film was both written and directed by Pradeep, who also made his acting debut with the movie.

The  Tamil movie ‘Love Today’, on which the upcoming Bollywood movie featuring Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan is based, is itself an adaptation of Pradeep Ranganathan’s short film ‘App (a) Lock’. Pradeep explained that he made several changes to the story while adapting it into a mainstream film. While the short film had only three characters, the movie features more characters, including Pradeep’s mother and sister. The film revolves around the emotional struggles of a family and also has a wedding backdrop to cater to wider audience appeal.

Junaid Khan, the son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, will be making his second Bollywood appearance with the upcoming ‘Love Today’ remake. Directed by Pradeep Ranganathan, the movie features Khushi Kapoor as the female lead alongside Junaid. Junaid made his acting debut with the movie ‘Maharaja’ directed by Sidharth P. Malhotra, where he played the role of a journalist. He also appeared in the web series ‘Pritam Pyare’.
