“Something Is Definitely Wrong!” Fans REACT After Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai Trailer Launch Gets Cancelled

The much-awaited trailer launch event of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai took an unexpected turn on Thursday after it was cancelled at the very last minute in Mumbai. 

Directed by David Dhawan and starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, the film has already generated decent pre-release buzz through its teaser and songs. Fans were eagerly waiting for the official trailer launch event, which was reportedly planned on a large scale at a Mumbai theatre. 

However, despite all arrangements being completed, the event was suddenly called off, leaving fans shocked and confused. 

Soon after the cancellation, the production team released an official statement on social media explaining the situation. 

The statement read, “We regret to inform you that the trailer launch event for Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, scheduled for today, has been cancelled due to unforeseen technical difficulties. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding and continued support. We look forward to sharing the trailer with you soon.”

What surprised fans even more was that the trailer was not released online either. Normally, if an event gets cancelled due to technical problems, makers still release the trailer digitally. But in this case, the trailer launch itself has been postponed entirely, with no new date announced so far. 

The sudden postponement quickly triggered discussions across social media platforms, with many fans questioning whether there is a bigger issue behind the cancellation. 

Some users criticised the film’s promotional strategy, while others speculated about possible behind-the-scenes problems.  

One fan wrote on X, “Trailer postponed too? What exactly is happening with this film?” 

Another commented, “This doesn’t look like just a technical issue anymore.”

The makers are unhappy with the trailer cut, Internal disagreements are happening within the team, There are delays related to post-production, Or whether the promotional campaign is facing problems. 

Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai marks another comedy entertainer from veteran filmmaker David Dhawan, known for delivering commercial family entertainers over the years. 

The film stars Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, Pooja Hegde. 

The teaser and songs released so far had managed to create moderate excitement among audiences, especially among fans of commercial comedy films. 

After facing multiple delays and release discussions, the film is currently scheduled to release in theatres on June 5, 2026. 

Interestingly, it will not enjoy a solo release at the box office. The movie is expected to clash with Bandar starring Bobby Deol, Peddi featuring Ram Charan. 

With the trailer launch now postponed and online speculation growing rapidly, all eyes are on the makers to reveal when the official trailer will finally be released.
