Rajpal Yadav’s Property Sealed Over Unpaid Loan Of Rs. 11 Crores

Rajpal Yadav is an Indian actor and a popular comedian who primarily works in Hindi films. Though he is majorly popular for his comedic roles, his breakthrough in Indian film industry came with Ram Gopal Verma’s movie in which Rajpal played a negative role. He was born in Shahjahanpur in Uttar Pradesh. He has studied acting at National School of Drama and Bharatendu Natya Academy.

Production House

Rajpal Yadav had opened a production house and named it after his parents. The production house is named “Shri Naurang Godavari Entertainment Limited.” The production house is officially owned by Rajpal Yadav’s wife – Radha Yadav.

Sealed Property

The Central Bank Of India has sealed Rajpal Yadav’s property in Shahjahanpur. The property is exactly located in Seth Enclave Colony, near Kachhari, Shahjahanpur. For producing a movie, Rajpal Yadav took a loan of Rs. 3 crores and kept this Shahjahanpur as a mortgage. He failed to pay the bank back which led to the property getting sealed.

Reportedly, Rajpal Yadav took a loan of Rs. 3 crores for producing a movie from Central Bank of India, Bandra Kurla Complex. After failing to repay the original loan, Rajpal Yadav’s loan repayment amount kept on increasing which led to Rs. 11 crores as the total amount of loan repayment. On August 8, 2024, the Central Bank of India’s team sealed Rajpal’s Shahjahanpur property without involving the police.

Which Movie Was Produced With The Loan Amount?

Rajpal Yadav took a loan amounting to Rs. 3 crores to fund a movie called “Ata Pata Laapata.” As the owner of the production house officially is Radha Yadav, she is said to be the producer of the above mentioned movie. It was a comedy-musical movie that was released in 2012. The movie featured Rajpal Yadav, Om Puri, Ashutosh Rana, Vijay Raaz, Dara Singh and many more known celebrities. Commercially, the movie failed terribly at the box office.
