Kareena Kapoor Shares PM Modi’s Note for Her Sons, Invites Him to RK Fest

Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India] December 11: Actor Kareena Kapoor recently shared moments from a memorable meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Accompanied by her husband Saif Ali Khan, brother Ranbir Kapoor, sister-in-law Alia Bhatt, sister Karisma Kapoor, and other family members, the actor invited PM Modi to the upcoming Raj Kapoor Film Festival, honoring the legendary actor’s 100th birth anniversary.

On Instagram, Kareena posted pictures of the visit, including one where PM Modi is seen signing a note addressed to her sons, Taimur and Jeh, affectionately referring to them as "Tim and Jeh." The gesture delighted fans and underscored the Prime Minister's personal touch during the gathering. Kareena expressed her gratitude in the caption, writing, “We are deeply humbled and honoured to have been invited by the Honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, to commemorate the extraordinary life and legacy of our grandfather, the legendary Raj Kapoor. The Kapoor family’s visit coincides with preparations for the Raj Kapoor 100 Film Festival, which will take place from December 13 to 15, just ahead of Raj Kapoor’s birth centenary on December 14. The festival, organized by PVR INOX Limited and the Film Heritage Foundation, promises to be one of the largest retrospectives ever dedicated to the filmmaker’s work.

Spanning 101 cinemas across 34 cities, the event will feature iconic films like Awara (1951), Shree 420 (1955), Sangam(1964), and Mera Naam Joker (1970), offering audiences a chance to relive the grandeur of Raj Kapoor’s visionary storytelling. The festival aims to inspire new generations while celebrating the indelible mark Raj Kapoor left on Indian cinema.

Joining Kareena and Saif at the event were Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Bharat Sahni, Rima Jain, Aadar Jain, Armaan Jain, Anissa Malhotra, Nitasha Nanda, Manoj Jain, and Nikhil Nanda.
