Kangana Ranaut Celebrates Success of ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ Amidst Smear Campaign

1st July 2023,Mumbai: The success of her most recent project, Tiku Weds Sheru, has Kangana Ranaut feeling good. With the cast and crew of her movie, which debuted on Amazon Prime on June 23 and took the top rank among recent releases, the actor recently went to a success celebration. Avneet Kaur, the film’s leading heroine, and Kangana can be seen dancing the night away in a recent video taken inside the party.

Kangana and Avneet could be seen dancing in a video that was later shared on Instagram. Kangana was spotted wearing a saffron dress with an off-the-shoulder style and golden heels. Avneet, on the other hand, opted for a black suit and a pair of high heels. On the dance floor by themselves, the pair could be seen swaying their legs. They each grinned at each other as they continued to dance and celebrate the success of their film.

Previously, when there were some unfavourable online reviews of the movie due to the age difference between the two leads—Nawazuddin Siddiqui, 49, and Avneet Kaur, 21—Kangana stated that these were a part of a ‘smear campaign’ carried out by the ‘movie mafia.’ “Movie mafia doing everything to harm my film, fake reviews and smear campaigns started even before its release,” wrote Kangana on Instagram Stories. “In any case, it’s available for streaming right now. Please see it independently, or only ask your friends or people you know about the reviews of the movie if they saw it first. Don’t follow paid or fake trends.”

Chandramukhi 2, which will be released on Ganesh Chaturthi, will be Kangana’s next film. Kangana announced the movie’s release along with a first-look poster of Raghava Lawrence on Instagram. The sequel to the hugely successful Tamil horror comedy film Chandramukhi, directed by P Vasu and starring Rajinikanth and Jyothika, is called Chandramukhi 2.

Additionally, Kangana is developing the period drama movie Emergency, which she will be directing alone. The film, which will be released in theatres on November 24, 2023, is on the life of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and stars Kangana in the title role.
