Kanagana Ranaut Trolled For Her Election Campaign Speeches

Kangana Ranaut, the actress turned politician, is contesting in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 from the Mandi constituency in her home state of Himachal Pradesh. Despite her popularity as an actress and her frequent political commentary on her social media, the actress has not found her transformation into a full time politician an easy one.

Kanaga Ranaut’s campaigning for the elections are on in full flow. She is constantly attending rallies and making speeches to garner votes for herself and the BJP.

However, not everyone is responding positively to the claims she has been making in her speeches.

She has claimed that Narendra Modi has been responsible for stopping World War 3 and for providing guidance to Putin and Ukraine on how to proceed.

Kanagana has also claimed that after the legendary Amitabh Bacchan, she gets the most love and respect in Bollywood.

This claim has also not gone down well with people on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Rough Transition From Acting to Politics

Despite receiving 4 National Awards and a lot of love for her work as an actress, the transition into politics has not been a smooth one for the star of Queen.

She has been the subject of trolls and jokes ever since her candidature was announced, with these just being the latest in the line. Even earlier, her forays into political commentary were not well received and has led to numerous arguments and fights on Twitter. She was also the subject of a complaint to the Election Commission of India by Congress when she called Motilal Nehru “the Ambani of his time”.

Whether her campaign will turn out to be effective or not, only time will tell.

The polling for her seat in Mandi will take place on 1st June 2024. The results for the Lok Sabha elections will be announced on 4th June 2024.
