Housefull 5 is all set for a big release with a lot riding on it. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film stars Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, and others. Fans expect laughs, but the makers are also betting on big box office numbers.

As per the reports, the film is made on a huge budget of Rs 240 crore. Around Rs 225 crore went into making the movie, paying actors, shooting abroad, building fancy sets, and adding visual effects. Another Rs 15 crore has been used for promotions like trailers, events, and ads.
Before hitting theatres, Housefull 5 has already earned Rs 135 crore. This includes Rs 75 crore from digital rights, Rs 40 crore from satellite deals, and Rs 20 crore from music rights. But that’s not enough.
How Much Is Needed By Akshay Kumar Starrer To Be Called A HIT?
To break even, it must earn Rs 105 crore from theatres, which means a total global gross of about Rs 250 crore. For it to be profitable, the film needs to cross Rs 325 crore worldwide and earn more than its reported budget to be a clean HIT.
The previous Housefull films have done well, so hopes are high. But today’s audience has more choices and higher expectations. For Housefull 5 to win, it must bring fresh jokes, lovable characters, and moments worth watching on the big screen.
