Housefull 5: Trailers Of THESE Upcoming Releases To Be Attached With Akshay Kumar Starrer

The much-awaited Housefull 5, starring Akshay Kumar, will hit theatres on June 6. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, this comedy promises loads of laughs and is set to be one of the biggest Bollywood hits this summer. With large crowds expected, many producers are using Housefull 5’s wide audience to showcase trailers for their upcoming films.

Sources reveal that the teaser for War 2, starring Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, will play nationwide before Housefull 5. The producers have also arranged for the teaser to screen in Southern markets alongside Kamal Haasan’s Thug Life. 

An Insider told Pinkvilla, “It’s a direct deal with exhibitors and multiplex chains all across the board. The teaser will screen in most of the properties with Housefull 5 and Thug Life.” This plan keeps the teaser running from June through August to maximise reach.

Bhushan Kumar is pushing his July 6 release Metro In Dino with a trailer launch on June 4. The trailer will be shown in cinemas alongside Housefull 5. The same source added, “The idea is to communicate directly with the cinema-going audience.”

Aamir Khan’s social dramedy Sitaare Zameen Par will also get prominent trailer placements via PVRInox theatres nationwide. The film is set to release shortly after Housefull 5. The source noted, “Trailer placement is a no-brainer at all the properties, nationwide.”

Kajol’s horror-thriller Maa, releasing June 27, will have its trailer hard-attached to Housefull 5 prints. The makers plan an aggressive marketing campaign for the next month to build excitement.

YRF has also signed a deal to promote Saiyaara, a romantic film starring newcomers Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda. The teaser will screen before Housefull 5. Like War 2, Saiyaara’s teaser and promos will run on the big screen before its July 18 release.

Housefull 5 boasts a star-studded cast led by Akshay Kumar, with Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and Nargis Fakhri joining the fun.
