Filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala and Thailand’s Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin Will Discuss Potential Future Cooperation In Thailand

20th February,2024, Mumbai: Renowned director Sajid Nadiadwala recently met with Thailand’s honourable prime minister, Srettha Thavisin, during his birthday week to talk about possible joint ventures for film production and location shooting. The director has previously used Thailand’s scenic backdrops to film popular films like Heropanti, Baaghi, Baaghi 2, Housefull 2, Anjaana Anjaani, and Baaghi.

Nadiadwala gave Prime Minister Thavisin a peacock brooch and a pashmina shawl as mementos of India’s rich cultural past during the meeting. The focus of their conversation was investigating joint projects that will enhance the Thailand filming experience by promoting a positive cross-cultural exchange. It has also been noted that a large number of Thai professionals travel to work on Indian films.

Srettha Thavisin posted on social media, saying, “Mr. Sajid Nadiadwala, President of the Indian Film & TV Producers Council (IFTPC) and Owner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, India’s Leading Film Production Company, came to talk with me to find ways to support filmmakers who will be filming in Thailand. Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment has produced over 200 films, including highly successful films like Kick or Highway. In terms of perks and tax policies. I can promise you that this administration is committed to supporting filmmaking since it would boost the economy of the nation through tourism and culture, two things that are considered Thailand’s soft power.”
