EXCLUSIVE: Bimal Oberoi Showers Praise On Dhurandhar 2 Co-Star Ranveer Singh - ‘Bahut Ache Actor Hain, Aage…’

Dhurandhar 2 is doing very well at the box office and continues to stay in trend even days after its release. The Ranveer Singh-starrer spy thriller has impressed audiences with its story, scale, and performances. Many actors are getting praise, and one of them is Bimal Oberoi, who plays the strong role of Shirani.

In a recent interview with The Filmy Charcha, Bimal spoke about the film’s success, his experience, and working with the cast. His comments give a simple look at what made the film so successful.

Talking about Ranveer Singh, Bimal said the actor has always performed well in his roles. However, he feels this role is different, which makes it stand out. “Jo unhone pehle bhi kirdaar kiye hain wo unke saath poori tareeke se justice kiya hai. The film also has a popular moment with Akshaye Khanna’s entry. Bimal revealed that the dance in that scene was not planned. “Unka dance script mein nahi tha. He felt like dancing aur director se poocha aur unhone allow kiya. Ranveer ka entry style alag tha—woh apne mission ke close aa raha tha, isliye uska expression alag tha. Dono apni jagah sahi the.”

Bimal also spoke about the tough shoot in Ladakh. He said the conditions were very difficult for the team.

He said, “Ladakh mein shoot bahut tough tha. Oxygen ki problem thi. Crew ke liye zyada mushkil tha. Weather extreme tha—kabhi bahut thand, kabhi garmi. Kuch log beemar bhi pade. Actors manage kar lete hain, par crew ke liye kaafi challenging tha.”

Even with these problems, the shoot went smoothly. Bimal praised director Aditya Dhar for keeping things calm on set. “Retakes zyada issue nahi the. Sab professionals the. Director Aditya Dhar kaafi calm aur relaxed hain. Weather unpredictable tha, toh kabhi light ki wajah se delay hota tha.”

He also said there was no need to change much in the script. “Improvisation ke baare mein—maine zyada change nahi kiya. Script already strong thi. Kabhi-kabhi overdo nahi karna chahiye. Jo likha tha, woh itna achha tha ki hum usi se khush the.”

Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is a spy thriller and the final part of the series. The film follows an Indian spy played by Ranveer Singh, who takes on global crime and terror networks.

The film mixes fiction with real events, making the story more engaging. It also features action and emotional scenes that keep the audience interested.
