'Emergency' faces another hurdle, banned in this country!

Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, January 14: The much-awaited film 'Emergency' directed by Kangana Ranaut has been banned in Bangladesh. This is a big setback for Kangana before the release of the film. The neighboring country took this decision due to the current tense relations between India and Bangladesh. The film 'Emergency' is based on the emergency declared in India by the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1975.

According to a source related to the matter, 'The decision to stop the screening of 'Emergency' in Bangladesh is related to the current tense relations between India and Bangladesh. This ban is less due to the theme of the film and more due to the ongoing political tension between the two countries.''Emergency' shows the role of the Indian Army and Indira Gandhi's government in the 1971 Bangladesh Independence War and the support given to Sheikh Mujiburahman, who is called the 'Father of Bangladesh'.

The film also shows the murder of Mujiburahman at the hands of Bangladeshi extremists, due to which it is believed that the film was banned in Bangladesh. 'Emergency' is ready to release in Indian theatres in three days. 'Emergency', which is set to release on January 17, shows an important event in Indian history.

Emergency' is not the only one on the list of Indian films facing ban in the neighboring country Bangladesh.
