Bigg Boss 19: Salman Khan Busy Shooting Battle Of Galwan, THESE Stars Step In As Hosts

Salman Khan and Bigg Boss have gone hand in hand for 15 years. Since he became the host in Season 4, Salman has made Weekend Ka Vaar popular with his humour, strong presence, and sharp feedback. But this weekend, he will not appear on stage as he is busy with his next film.

Salman Khan is now in Ladakh, filming Battle Of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Because of his schedule, he will miss this week’s Weekend Ka Vaar. Filling in for him will be Arshad Warsi, who had hosted the very first season of Bigg Boss in 2006.

Arshad will not host alone. His Jolly LLB 3 co-star Akshay Kumar will join him on stage. Together, they are expected to bring new energy to the show. The team has said Arshad will “shake things up” in the house with fun tasks and light moments. Still, fans wonder if he will be as strict as Salman when it comes to scolding contestants.

Salman has been very active in Bigg Boss 19 so far. Just last week, he gave housemates tough feedback and warnings. He “slammed Amaal Mallik for his abusive language” and told Gaurav Khanna to be more active in the game. His absence this weekend will surely change the mood in the house. With Arshad and Akshay stepping in, viewers are waiting to see if the Weekend Ka Vaar will be more fun and less intense.

Even while away from the show, Salman is in the spotlight. A photo from the set of Battle Of Galwan went viral on Wednesday. The actor was seen in Ladakh with the crew, dressed in a bottle green T-shirt and military trousers. The picture quickly caught attention online.

Battle Of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict. Salman will play a soldier in what looks to be one of his toughest roles in recent times. The first motion poster is already out, and before the launch, Salman teased fans by sharing a casual Instagram photo where the poster could be spotted in the background.

Meanwhile, Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar are promoting Jolly LLB 3. The trailer of the film was released today, and the film will hit theatres worldwide on September 19. Their appearance on Bigg Boss 19 not only fills in for Salman but also gives fans a preview of their upcoming courtroom drama.
